Armitage Hux is a professor of experimental psychology, based at the University of Arkanis.
He is fascinated with anything concerning human behaviour, however his research has been primarily focused on stress and perception. His research background also extends to mood and overall wellbeing.
Well-respected by his students and colleagues, Professor Hux generally knows how to perform in front of any given audience. Some may not always appreciate his nature; he is strong, authoritative, witty, and often sarcastic.
He generally only teaches two or three classes a week. He knows just how to keep his students in line, and does not tolerate bad behaviour in the lecture hall. You want to learn? Then you will shut up and listen.
Professor Hux may often come across as strict and serious, but generally his students really like him. He makes lectures interesting for keen learners; those who are worthy of his time. His trademark dry humour tends to win some people over, too.
Outside of the University, he generally keep things simple. He lives alone in a detached house, with a small garden. The colour scheme is primarily black and white, though he does have some interesting pieces of art hung on his walls.
Hux currently does not engage in long-term relationships; he claims that he's too busy for such things. Casual dating and hook-ups are more his style, for now, until someone truly captivates him. When he does take a partner, he is generally dominating; he likes being in control, but he also makes sure to take care of whoever he is spending the night with. He has several kinks that he's not afraid to explore with a willing partner.
The Professor relishes in spending time by himself, but he does have several friends who he can turn to for company, or comfort. These are the people that know the real Hux; his highs, his lows, the ones he will willingly get drunk in front of and spill his emotions.
He smokes, and takes his coffee black (with just a hint of sugar). The professor has recently taken up running, though this is more of a self-experiment to see how exercise will affect his physical and mental wellbeing.
